Aug. 22, 2020 – Do you have unused hearing aids in your closet or will you be getting new hearing aids soon? Or do you know someone who has hearing aids left over? Donate them to Children’s Aid Dominican Republic and we’ll make sure your aids get a second life in the Dominican Republic.
Our program includes many deaf or hard of hearing children. This is not a coincidence. The Dominican Republic has a large percentage of deaf and hard of hearing people compared to other countries. There are several special schools on the island for the deaf and hard of hearing. The school for the deaf in San Francisco de Macoris is in great need of hearing aids for the children of their school and their families. At this school there are almost 40 children whom we support financially from the Netherlands.
Will you help us give hearing-impaired children and their siblings a more independent life? Send the hearing device you no longer use to : Secretariat Children’s Aid Dominican Republic, Barchemseweg 90, 7241 JG Lochem. We will make sure your hearing device gets a second life.
